Are you an organized, detail-oriented multitasker who thrives in a dynamic environment? The Juneau Chamber of Commerce is looking for a proactive Administrative Coordinator to help keep our office operations running smoothly, manage financial records, and support our community events. This is a full-time, non-exempt role with a direct impact on Juneau’s business community.
What You’ll Do:
Administrative Support:
- Manage phone calls, emails, and mail, ensuring inquiries are handled efficiently.
- Keep records and documents organized, including contracts and membership data.
- Oversee office supply inventory and ensure the workspace stays clean and functional.
- Provide general support for Chamber operations and contracts.
Financial Management:
- Handle accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks.
- Track invoices, process payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and ensure timely compliance filings.
Event Coordination:
- Support fundraising and community event planning and execution.
- Manage event logistics like vendor coordination, setup, and attendee communication.
- Act as a key contact during events for staff, volunteers, and guests.
Board & Committee Support:
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and reports.
- Attend meetings and manage follow-up on action items.
Who You Are:
- You’re experienced with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- You have strong organizational skills and a laser focus on detail.
- You can prioritize tasks and juggle multiple responsibilities like a pro.
- You’re independent but love being part of a team.
- Familiarity with compliance filing is a plus!
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but equivalent experience is welcomed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
