Cultivation Manager

Reports to: Head of Cultivation

The ideal Cultivation Manager reports to the Head of Cultivation and is responsible for certain areas of day-to-day cultivation activities and adjusting workflow and procedures in order to increase yields, efficiency and overall performance. This person will lead and manage employees, ensuring that production needs are met, things are in full compliance with all state and local regulations, and any procedural problems are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

Responsibilities Include:

• Oversee all functions of the grow facility.
• Creating team schedules and ensuring individuals are on time and following the proper procedures if they are unable to make it to their scheduled shift.
• In charge of setting up each room, mom, clone, and veg cycles.
• Maintain open and effective communication with the HOC, all cultivation managers and direct reports on updates and issues.
• Knowledgeable in the plant’s nutrition.
• Plant and room scheduling with all cultivation managers at the facility.
• Stock tank prep.
• Recipe prep.
• Room checks (equipment, irrigation, climate, mechanical, etc.).
• Facilitate orders for Hydro, Athena, filters, Home Depot, etc.
• Climate and irrigation room management.
• Management of water
• Daily management of Dry Rooms.
• Responsible for inspection of equipment and mechanical maintenance.
• Employee performance management
• Management of flavor rotations, what flavor is run and what to hold.
• Oversight of low-level Cultivation Managers and Cultivation Leads
• Other duties assigned.

Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and position oneself, communicate, operate, and prepare, and place, and position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. Working Environment:
Work is performed in a cultivation and growing atmosphere and must follow GMP Quality standards. Use of mechanized equipment in warehouse environments should be expected.
