Higher Education Financial Specialist
Juniata College is seeking a highly skilled Higher Education Financial Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing financial aid programs, services, and office operations, including overseeing state grant programs, student employment programs, and a portion of the student loan programs.
This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex financial aid regulations and procedures. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. Experience with financial aid software and other technology systems is preferred, but not required.
In addition to these skills, the successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. One to three years of related experience in student support services or client support services is preferred.
