Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in our care. You will play a vital role in their development by implementing educational activities that promote learning and growth while ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in various settings, including preschool, daycare, or as a nanny.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning and development.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe and engaging environment for all children.
- Provide caregiving support, including feeding, diapering, and supervising playtime.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents as necessary.
- Promote positive behavior through effective classroom management techniques.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare settings such as preschool, daycare, or babysitting is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive environment.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying is a plus.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
- A genuine passion for working with children and contributing to their growth and development.
