About Us:

The Player Development Index (PDI) is a tool used by coaches and golfers to assess and track a player's skills and progress, providing a comprehensive evaluation of their strengths and weaknesses.


The Junior Golf Hub (JGH) is the premier online community for junior athletes on the rise and college coaches seeking top talent. Features include JGH Rankings, a tournament finder, and a suite of tools for college recruiting, including profiles, program fit stats, contact information, and news. 


The Golf Performance Center (GPC) in Ridgefield, CT, is a state-of-the-art training facility offering PDI assessments, expert coaching and customized instruction to help golfers of all ages and skill levels improve their game.


The Golf Performance Academy (GPA) in Ridgefield, CT is a full-time boarding school for student-athletes in grades 6-12 who are dedicated to improving their golf game and aspire to play at the collegiate or professional level. The Academy leverages PDI, JGH, and practices daily at the GPC.


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Director to lead the growth marketing efforts across our four dynamic brands described above: PDI, JGH, GPC, and GPA. This is a key leadership role with immense potential for growth, offering the opportunity to shape the future of our brands and make a significant impact in the golf industry.


You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth across all business lines. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of both B2B and B2C marketing, and a proven ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously.  


Responsibilities:


Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across four brands, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Oversee all marketing functions including brand management, product marketing, digital marketing, social media, content creation, public relations, email marketing, events, sponsorships, and tradeshows.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new marketing team members.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, including existing staff.
  • Build and manage the marketing budget effectively.
  • Analyze marketing performance and provide regular reports to the Chief Product Officer and CEO.


Brand Building & Marketing Execution:

  • Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all brands.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content across various channels (website, social media, email, advertising, etc.).
  • Drive customer acquisition and engagement through effective digital marketing campaigns.
  • Implement marketing strategies to leverage strategic sponsorships and partnerships to increase brand visibility and reach.
  • Plan and execute successful events and tradeshows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in a growth marketing or marketing leadership role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience managing multiple brands or business lines simultaneously.
  • Proven experience with B2B and B2C marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.
  • Experience with event planning and sponsorship management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work in the Ridgefield office 4 days/week.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the sports tech industry.
  • Marketing experience in the golf industry.
  • Experience marketing to junior athletes and their parents.
