Responsibilities
- Analyzes resident’s hair and questions resident to determine their hairdressing preference.
- Washes, dyes, tints hair based on residents’ instructions.
- Styles hair by blowing, cutting, trimming and tapering.
- Cleans, shapes and polishes fingernails.
- Makes and confirms hairdressing appointments and coordinates wheelchair transportation for resident through Transportation.
- A High School Diploma,
- A valid cosmetology license with at least six months related experience.
- Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting.
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
