- Analyzes resident's hair and questions resident to determine their hairdressing preference.
- Washes, dyes, perms, tints, bleaches or curls or waves hair based on residents' instructions.
- Styles hair by blowing, cutting, trimming and tapering.
- Makes and confirms hairdressing appointments and coordinates transportation through nursing staff.
- Space provided free of charge Educational / Vocational Requirements :
- A High School Diploma,
- A valid cosmetology license with at least six months related experience.
- Previous experience in healthcare or service related setting.
- Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult. Ready to make a difference?
