Description
The Recruiting Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition team in all phases of the full-cycle recruitment process. This role provides administrative and logistical support, including reviewing applications, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring events. Additionally, the Recruiting Coordinator assists with sourcing talent, supporting offer processes and onboarding, maintaining accurate records, and fostering a positive candidate experience.
- Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including reviewing applications and resumes, sourcing passive talent, and conducting thorough phone, video, and formal interviews to identify and engage top candidates.
- Establish networks and participate in recruiting activities, leveraging online sources, social media campaigns, grassroots recruiting events, job fairs, and emerging talent sources to attract top candidates.
- Assist with offer processes and onboarding to ensure a seamless transition for new hires by preparing offer letters, coordinating pre-employment screenings (MVRs and background checks), and overseeing documentation, system access, and first-day preparations in collaboration with HR, IT, payroll, and hiring managers.
- Fully utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to create and manage job requisitions, track candidate progress, and maintain accurate, real-time documentation to ensure transparency, compliance, and adherence to company policies and applicable regulations.
- Foster a positive candidate experience by maintaining open communication, addressing concerns, and reinforcing company culture throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
- Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment and onboarding programs by gathering feedback from new hires and managers, identifying areas for enhancement, and recommending process improvements.
- Coordinate recruitment-related initiatives by facilitating planning, execution, task tracking, and reporting to ensure successful implementation and alignment with hiring goals.
- Provide hands-on support to the business through travel as needed, strengthening relationships with hiring managers, ensuring alignment with hiring needs, and enhancing the overall candidate experience.
- Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team members in completing their essential functions during periods of absence or higher business demands.
- Assist with special projects and requests as needed to advance department initiatives and business objectives.
- Follow and promote safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and implement corrective actions to address safety hazards and incidents.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 year of administrative or recruiting experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively share information across teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in computer and technology skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and mobile devices.
- Fluent in English, Spanish, and Creole is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
- Must possess a valid US driver’s license (or equivalent) and meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) verification requirements.
