What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Service Solution Sales Specialist position at Juniper Networks Inc?
The position requires service sales and solution development acumen to actively engage with customers to leverage our portfolio of service capabilities and create a solution to deploy and operate Juniper products.
Expectations include the ability to create proposal, deliver customized presentations, and solution contracting and pricing. The Service Sales Specialist is accountable for growing and managing the Professional Services pipeline with close interactions with Sales, Service Sales, Customers, PS Bid Managers, Service Solutions Architects, Practice Leads, Marketing and Legal.
Primary activities include:
Promote and represent the Professional Services and other Advanced Services and Education Portfolio
Identify and qualify new opportunities and lead solution development discussions
Create and Propose Outcome-based integration solutions to enable Juniper technology
Grow and maintain the PS pipeline for your coverage region
Prioritize activities of the regional Services GTM Support Team
Collaborate in Account Planning and Services Portfolio Awareness meetings/activities
Contract and Close Complex Integration Services Projects
Key Objectives
Build pipeline, drive customer satisfaction through on-time commitment of pre-sales deliverables,
Create and deliver PS Services Presentations and RFP responses
Lead solution identification needs assessment with daily interactions positioning and developing customized solutions for customers.
Key indicators for success include building pipeline, increasing close rates, HW and Services sales team satisfaction, building mind-share and increasing PS awareness in our Sales organization and with customers.

Integration experience defining and delivering solutions to Enterprise or Service Provider / Cloud organizations…
Deep and beneficial experience would be in one or more in the following areas
SP Operational Experience
Cloud Automation Experience
Large Scale Multi-site Deployment Solutions expertise
Datacenter fabric migrations and program management
Technology based Solution Expertise appropriate for the position include: Wireless, Wired, WAN, Automation, Network Management
General Qualifications
Minimum 4 years System Integration experience in marketing, selling or managing the delivery of professional services
Experience managing customers through the sale and delivery of large data and security projects in the Enterprise or Service Provider markets.
Strong writing, presentation and contract negotiation skills.
Able to travel nationally and internationally as required.
Education – Ideally an MBA and Technical Degree or equivalent preferred as well as ongoing network vendor product or sales training/certifications.
