Key Responsibilities:

Book and Manage Shipments:
- Process and book daily Bills of Lading (BOLs) for outgoing shipments, including FTL (Full Truckload), LTL (Less-than-Truckload), small package, and box truck shipments.
- Ensure accuracy in shipment details, addresses, and carrier selections.

Optimize Freight Efficiency:
- Identify and consolidate shipments where possible to maximize cost savings.
- Analyze freight expenses and suggest strategies to balance cost efficiency with minimal freight damage.

Freight Claims Management:
- Submit and successfully win freight claims to recover losses and improve operational costs.

Process Improvement & Automation:
- Pursue opportunities to automate logistics processes and enhance operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline freight programs.

Cost Reduction & Analysis:
- Continuously seek methods to lower the overall freight cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Monitor industry trends and recommend adjustments to optimize shipping expenditures.
- Enter sales orders after customer sign-offs and purchase custom items when needed for all Juniper orders (Shopify, offline and project)
- Schedule shipments and communicate with clients on all non-install related projects
- Answer phone calls and perform customer service duties as needed.
- Work with warehouse personnel to schedule shipments and maintain communication to minimize preventable reschedules. Send clients tracking information
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in logistics, freight coordination, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of BOL processes, carrier selection, and freight cost analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments efficiently.
