Overview
Jupeng Bio is a technology development and licensing business that is commercializing innovative technology platforms for converting waste carbon into liquid fuel and nutrition products. The Technology Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas is home to Jupeng Bio’s research and development team.
The Office Administrator provides a wide range of administrative support for the Fayetteville Technology Center.
The position will report to the site director. The permanent location for this position is Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Duties
- Process purchase requests and interface with requesters, suppliers, receivers and accounting to procure goods and services
- Work with plant and lab managers to review and resolve discrepancies between orders and actual delivery
- Coordinate the preparation of budget (annual) and budget monitoring (monthly).
- Assist with the preparation of applications for the annual renewal of property, worker’s compensation, liability and related insurance policies.
- Coordinate Fayetteville site fixed asset reporting with accounting and ensure personal property records are kept current.
- Work with Fayetteville site asset managers to monitor the performance of business equipment and janitorial services providers.
- Collect and send mail for the Fayetteville site via USPS, Fedex, UPS, etc.
- Maintain files (procurement, contract, capital projects, etc) for the Fayetteville site
- Assist with the preparation of responses to surveys.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Administrative Skills
- NetSuite® or similar purchase order processing experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in dealing with business and janitorial service providers
- Ability to create and use spreadsheets and similar tools for planning work, monitoring and assessing progress, and communicating information
- Experience with setting up and maintaining hard copy and digital files
- Experience working with auditors
- Ability to coordinate and complete administrative tasks involving managers from several different departments
