Job Summary: The Manufacturing Assembler I is responsible for the assembly of medical device catheters in a cleanroom environment. This entry-level position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our medical devices, adhering to strict regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly Operations:

• Assemble catheter components following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Handle small, delicate parts with precision and care.
• Use specialized tools and equipment, such as microscopes, to assist in assembly.
• Perform tasks such as bonding, cutting, laminating, and inspecting components.

Quality Control:

• Inspect assembled parts for defects, ensuring high standards of quality.
• Record and report any deviations or non-conformities to the supervisor.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

Documentation:

• Accurately complete production records, logs, and batch records.
• Follow good documentation practices (GDP) as per industry standards.
• Cleanroom Protocol:
• Adhere to cleanroom protocols, including gowning, to maintain a contamination-free environment.
• Participate in regular cleanroom maintenance and cleanliness checks.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Comply with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and company-specific policies.
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices, is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Fine motor skills to handle small components.
• Vision capabilities to perform detailed inspections, including close-up work.
  
  

Work Environment:

• This position operates in a cleanroom environment, requiring specific gowning and adherence to cleanliness protocols.
• The role may involve exposure to various chemicals and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  
  

The starting base pay for this role is between $20.00 and $23.46 depending on experience. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, training, transferable skills, work experience, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, benefits and 401(K) with matching.
