Job Summary: The Manufacturing Assembler I is responsible for the assembly of medical device catheters in a cleanroom environment. This entry-level position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of our medical devices, adhering to strict regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble catheter components following detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Handle small, delicate parts with precision and care.
- Use specialized tools and equipment, such as microscopes, to assist in assembly.
- Perform tasks such as bonding, cutting, laminating, and inspecting components.
- Inspect assembled parts for defects, ensuring high standards of quality.
- Record and report any deviations or non-conformities to the supervisor.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
- Accurately complete production records, logs, and batch records.
- Follow good documentation practices (GDP) as per industry standards.
- Cleanroom Protocol:
- Adhere to cleanroom protocols, including gowning, to maintain a contamination-free environment.
- Participate in regular cleanroom maintenance and cleanliness checks.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and company-specific policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices, is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions.
