Position Overview :
We are looking for an accomplished Manufacturing Manager to take charge of the day-to-day operations for first-in-human builds. You will play a critical role in ensuring safety, GMP compliance, and process optimization while driving long-term scalability through manufacturing best practices. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with the Supply Chain to resolve material shortages, work with Manufacturing Engineers on process design, and assist in the development of the COGS model.
This role is focused on delivering measurable results within the first 30, 60, and 90 days, ensuring the candidate has a clear path to success. If you are results-driven, proactive, and experienced in building efficient manufacturing processes, we want you to lead and make an impact.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Day-to-Day Operations Management : Oversee daily manufacturing operations for first-in-human builds, ensuring on time, on-budget, and high-quality production. Foster a culture of safety and compliance with GMP protocols.
- Capacity Modeling & Planning : Create and maintain capacity models, assess production capacity, and ensure alignment with scaling requirements.
- Supply Chain Coordination : Partner with the Supply Chain team to address material shortages, ensuring continuous flow of materials for production without delays.
- Work Orders & ERP Improvements : Implement work order processes and optimize ERP systems for improved production tracking, reporting, and process efficiency.
- COGS Model Development : Assist with developing the COGS model in collaboration with finance and accounting teams. Focus on cost tracking and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization : Work with Manufacturing Engineers to refine processes for manufacturability and reliability, focusing on scalability through DFM and DFR principles.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $90,000 - $180,000 per year depending on experience. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as : education, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity, benefits and 401(K) with matching.
