This position is hands-on and requires strong mechanical skills, the ability to troubleshoot equipment, and some welding experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate pumps, valves, conveyors, and other equipment to transfer materials.
- Perform loading and unloading operations for barges, railcars, and trucks.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of terminal equipment.
- Monitor product levels, pressures, and temperatures to ensure proper handling.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Work closely with terminal leadership, maintenance teams, and external partners.
- Participate in emergency response drills and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in terminal operations, industrial facilities, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to obtain or currently possess a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card.
- Strong commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with handling bulk liquids and dry materials is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and basic welding experience.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime, and weekends if needed.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Able to climb stairs/ladders up to 24 ft.
- Able to work within enclosed or tight spaces.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
