What are the responsibilities and job description for the Privacy Paralegal position at JURISolutions Legal (JSL)?
JURISolutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Privacy Law Paralegal to join our supply chain industry client's legal team for a part-time, 3-6 month engagement. In this role, you will assist attorneys in ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and data protection laws, including GDPR and HIPAA. Your responsibilities will include conducting legal research, drafting documents, and managing related privacy matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for privacy law, as well as proficiency in legal research databases and standard office software. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential, as you will interact with various stakeholders, including third-party clients and regulatory bodies.
As stated, this engagement will last 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension. Ideally, this paralegal would work in-person in Detroit, Miami, NYC, Lexington, Kentucky or Knoxville, Tennessee, but remote candidates will also be considered. As this role is part-time, the candidate will be allowed to set their own schedule, as long as it fits with the team's goals.
