What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRIVACY PARALEGAL position at The National Football League?
Overview / Objective :
The NFL Privacy Office is looking to fill a Privacy Paralegal role (Coordinator level). Reporting to Senior Privacy Manager within the Legal Department, this role will be supporting the operation of an enhanced data privacy program across the League. This will include working closely with the Data Management, Marketing, Analytics and other business partners and technology teams, as well as representatives of all member Clubs to ensure a consistent approach to data privacy throughout our business.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct research and compile and organize informational reports and presentations.
- Assist with the preparation of contracts, amendments, releases, and schedules using established templates.
- Maintain the privacy document repository including ensuring those policies are up to date and in-line with the current regulatory / compliance requirements.
- Build a knowledge of applicable federal, state, and relevant international privacy laws and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate, review, and prepare briefing materials, presentations, and correspondences with both internal and external parties.
- Work closely and maintain a professional relationship with multiple business units.
- Support legal department processes including our contract and invoice management tools.
- Assist with response to third party vendor assessment requests.
- Assess stakeholder compliance with specific privacy requirements.
- Monitor and maintain processes for responding to privacy specific fan outreach.
