About Just for Kids:
Just for Kids is a community centered non-profit organization that provides before and after school programming in the Amherst, Cheektowaga Central, Cheektowaga Sloan, Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga), Grand Island, Sweet Home, and Williamsville Central School Districts as well as select private schools in Amherst, Buffalo, Swormville, Hamburg, and Williamsville.
Currently looking for after school staff for the 2024-2025 school year for our Saint Peter and Paul School location in Hamburg!
Different positions available:
Team Leaders - work directly with a group of kids providing safe, supervised, fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities in a structured environment.
Art Specialists – work directly with a group of kids providing safe, supervised, fun, engaging, and age-appropriate Fine Arts activities within a structured before and after school setting. Additional 1 hour of planning time each week school is in session.
Sports Specialists – work directly with a group of kids providing safe, supervised, fun, engaging, and age-appropriate physical activities within a structured before and after school setting. Additional 1 hour of planning time each week school is in session.
Floaters - work directly with a group of kids providing safe, supervised, fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities in a structured environment. Floaters float around to the various programs on an as needed basis.
Program Teachers – support the efforts of the Program Manager to create and implement appropriate and engaging activities in a safe, supervised, and structured environment. Coordinate with the Program Manager to determine responsibility for administrative tasks. Support the point person for site needs during Program Manager's absence. The Program Teacher will also work directly with groups of students.
PreK Program Teacher- will work directly with the PreK 3 and PreK 4 students helping to create and implement age-appropriate activities for this age group.
Schedule:
Afterschool programs follow the District/School calendar. Monday through Friday, from dismissal (anywhere from 1:30pm – 2:45pm depending on the school) through the close of program (5:30pm or 6:00pm).

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children.
- Program Teachers - minimum of two years of experience working with children and pursuing or completed degree in education or a related field.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
