We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive CCTV Monitoring Specialist to oversee and monitor our surveillance systems. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of our premises by monitoring CCTV feeds in real-time, detecting suspicious activities, and reporting incidents to the appropriate authorities. This is a critical role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
\n- Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor live CCTV feeds from various surveillance cameras across the site, ensuring continuous observation of all monitored areas.
- Identify and report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or irregular behavior to the security team or management.
- Review recorded footage to assist in investigations related to incidents such as theft, vandalism, or workplace accidents.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all surveillance activities, incidents, and equipment status.
- Provide detailed incident reports, including time, location, and descriptions of suspicious activities or breaches.
- Coordinate with security personnel and local authorities during emergencies or incidents that require immediate attention.
- Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification in security or surveillance is a plus).
- Proven experience in a security or CCTV monitoring role.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and video surveillance technology.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect unusual or suspicious activities quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, informed decisions in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic IT skills, including the ability to operate and troubleshoot CCTV software and hardware.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a security monitoring role.
