Accounting Manager

Just Made Foods is seeking an experienced and professional Accountant. Just Made a fast-growing food and beverage company based in North Houston/Spring, TX. We manufacture and market healthy juice, shots, and smoothie bowls for sale to accounts across the U.S. The Accountant fills an important role within the management team, and we are seeking an experienced, professional, and dynamic individual with a fervent desire to grow in the position. Additionally, the Accountant must work well with other areas of the company: Production, Logisitics, Customer Service, Procurement, etc.

Daily, Weekly, & Monthly Responsibilities:

• Posting daily transactions, invoicing customers, and managing accounts payable.
• Monthly bank reconciliations and produce monthly financial statements.
• Produce and execute Purchase Orders for packaging and raw materials. (Raw Material Procurement is handled by another area of the company).
• Lead monthly closing process. Ensure physical inventories are completed, all work orders are entered, bank records are reconciled, and all AP and AR are correctly and fully entered.
• Assist the COO to manage cash flow and maintain good credit with vendors and service providers.
• Produce weekly AR Aging Report, and weekly AP report for payment approvals.
• Reconcile credit cards and correctly code expenses.
• Support annual budget process and input budgets into Quickbooks for monthly reporting.
• Calculate hours, process weekly and biweekly payroll for hourly and salary workers.
• Identify opportunities to reduce operational and administrative costs, and process improvements.
• Other related administrative support, as needed.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing business.
• Associates degree with concentration in Accounting, General Business, Management, Finance, or similar field.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and related administrative functions.
• Expertise with QuickBooks Online Accounting Software, MS Excel, and Word.
• Strong math skills and a knack for numbers and analysis.
• Proficiency in English, Spanish is a plus.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize assignments, and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
• Well organized. Highly competent. Trustworthy. Willing to learn and grow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,400.00 - $5,800.00 per month, depending on experience.
