Job Summary:
Just Play is seeking a detail oriented and digital savvy Merchandising Specialist to join our Digital Commerce Group to advance and elevate how our products come to life on retailers’ websites. No day is like the last, and we are looking for the right team-member to come along for the ride. How our products come to life on retailer websites is critical to our success. In this role, you will be responsible for how our product detail pages engage shoppers on Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other retailer websites to drive conversion. As the Digital Commerce Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for building and merchandising digital content, ensuring the content is presented with quality and accuracy for key brands across our portfolio. You will make sure our product pages tell a strong product story that helps consumers understand what our products are and why they will love them. You will have an intense focus on how to optimize our photos, videos, and copy to drive conversion. You will work closely with other members on the content, product development and strategy teams to get amazing listings ready to launch.
Your main KPIs (the main numbers you will be responsible for) are content health score and share of shelf.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Upload and build product pages, according to retailer specifications and best practices, across key brands, on time.
- Monitor content health score and share of shelf and consistently work to improve.
- Conduct weekly audits to ensure our products show up in search as intended and that our copy and assets are live and optimized.
- Build enhanced content pages, as appropriate, to further engage users.
- Project manage internal and external partners to ensure on-time delivery of approved materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, digital media, or related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years' relevant work experience preferred.
- Must have passion for children’s consumer goods and entertainment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and project management skills.
- Understanding of digital and retail marketing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with dotcom content management systems.
- Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from multiple stakeholders.
- Organized, Organized, Organized!
- Willing to jump in wherever and whenever the team needs and put team above self.
- Experience with Salsify a plus.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
