MID DAY Production Supervisor

PM SHIFT SUPERVISOR 3PM TO 1130

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily operations of the trim, packaging, and processing teams, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
• Monitor and manage staff performance, providing direction, training, and support as needed to meet production goals.
• Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis regulations, company policies, and health and safety guidelines.
• Oversee the production processes, ensuring efficiency and in accordance with quality standards.
• Manage packaging operations, ensuring product accuracy, labeling compliance, and proper storage to maintain product freshness and integrity.
• Collaborate with other departments, including cultivation, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth production processes and meet operational deadlines.
• Track and maintain production records, including weight and quality checks, packaging counts, and batch traceability for compliance reporting.
• Inspect equipment and tools used in production to ensure proper functionality and safety.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste during trimming and packaging.
• Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train team members on procedures, safety practices, and product quality standards.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing for production shifts to meet production goals.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all finished products meet company and regulatory standards.
• Address and resolve any operational challenges that may arise in the production process.
• Other duties as required or needed to meet company goals

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cannabis industry or a similar production environment (trim/packaging/processing experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of cannabis plant anatomy and post-harvest processing, including trimming, drying, curing, and packaging.
• Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations related to processing, packaging, and labeling.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on quality control and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a production environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of integrity and a strong work ethic.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced MID DAY Production Supervisor (3 PM TO 1130 PM) to oversee the operations at our cannabis production facility. The successful candidate will lead a team to ensure efficient trimming, packaging, and processing of cannabis products while adhering to regulatory compliance, quality standards, and safety protocols. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining smooth production workflows, meeting deadlines, and ensuring a high standard of product consistency and quality.
