JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking Child Welfare Transporter! In this position, you'll play an important role in providing safe and secure transportation for children and families in need. You'll be responsible for ensuring that each family is safely and securely transported to their destination and that the highest standards of safety and care are met. You'll be expected to build trust with the family, maintain confidentiality, and monitor their behavior while in transit. The qualified Child Welfare Transporter will:
- Provide safe and reliable transportation for families to and from social services, medical appointments, schools, and other community resources.
- Provide a communication link between families and field staff.
- Maintain a clear and organized transportation schedule, coordinating pick-up and drop-off times to meet family needs.
- Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle or for offices which have company vehicles, the Driver is required to use the JusticeWorks vehicle when available.
The qualified Child Welfare Transporter will have:
- High School Diploma required.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.
