FULL-TIME FAMILY RESOURCE SPECIALIST
Family Resource Specialist
JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Resource Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support families in our community by providing them with resources, advice, and assistance. You will be responsible for connecting families with local services, such as housing assistance, healthcare, and other support services. As a Family Resource Specialist, you will also provide guidance and direction to parents and families in need, helping them find the resources they need to create a better future for their children. If you have a passion for working in the field of Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice or Social Work, this is the job for you!
To provide excellent service, our families are our priority so working with their schedules is key to creating a healthy rapport with them. Evenings and/or weekends may be required.

The qualified Family Resource Specialist will have:
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma and experience working with children, youth, and/or families in a variety of settings or environments.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle.
- Pass current, applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.

The qualified Family Resource Specialist will:
- Assess and engage families in service planning based on demonstrated needs.
- Plan and implement appropriate interventions using evidence based and best practice approaches.
- Assist families in accessing and navigating community resources.
- Attend court hearings and provide testimony as required.
- Transport clients utilizing personal vehicle, as necessary.
