JusticeWorks is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy IT Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on IT experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a passion for assisting field staff with any technical issues. This role involves providing phone and remote support, managing IT systems, and assisting users with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues. The qualified IT Assistant will:
- Respond to and prioritize IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor and manage Microsoft Online Services (Office 365).
- Edit and update Active Directory, Group Policies, email systems, virtualization, and backups setups.
- Assist in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT systems, including laptop computers, peripheral equipment, and cell phones.
The qualified IT Assistant will have:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in IT help desk, technical support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Windows 10, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide clear instructions to end users.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and within a team.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving IT environments.
- Pass all applicable clearances.
- Pass pre-employment, post-offer drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with phone system administration.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN networking concepts.
- Previous experience in a customer service-oriented IT role.
