We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to work in a collaborative environment to join our accounting team. A bookkeeper will be responsible to perform a variety of accounting assignments for multiple clients such as maintenance of accounting books and records, classification of transactions, preparation and analysis of trial balances and financial statements, and recording of journal entries.
- Prepares and compiles assignments from General Ledgers to Financial Statements. Completes engagements of moderate complexity with an emphasis on quality standards, timely completion within budget, and profitability.
- Bank Reconciliations
- Prepares Payroll, Payroll Tax Returns, W-2’s and Workers Compensation Reports
- Prepares 1099’s, Unsecured Property Tax Reports (571’s), City Business Tax Statements, and Census Reports.
- Certified payroll and report uploading to the DIR website
- Experience in Public Accounting Setting
Qualifications
- 2-6 years full-charge bookkeeping related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
- Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.'
- Must have experience in Quickbooks both online and desktop.
