What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator of Professional Development position at Juvenile Court Judges' Commission?
The Juvenile Court Judges’ Commission (JCJC) is seeking applicants for the position of Coordinator of Professional Development. This position is grant-funded through the Shippensburg University Foundation and will be considered for eligibility for participation in the agency’s telework program. A comprehensive benefits package is provided. This position reports directly to the JCJC’s Program Manager for the Professional Development and Services Improvement Program.
Position Description: In this position, you will coordinate the overall design, organization, and administration of the JCJC’s training program, which includes in-person, online, and virtual training. This position is also responsible for supporting the operations of the JCJC-sponsored Graduate Education Program in collaboration with Shippensburg University. Additionally, the position provides ongoing technical assistance to juvenile court judges, chief juvenile probation officers, and others related to professional development. Qualifications: Candidates must possess
- Five years of experience in juvenile justice, including two years of experience coordinating and/or providing training or technical assistance; or
- Five years of experience in training coordination, adult learning education, and/or a related role; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training; and
- A bachelor's degree in a related field.
The annual salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s education, work experience, and qualifications.
