Job Description :
Johnson Venture Management Solutions is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide direct, compassionate patient care to Veterans in a hospital setting, supporting optimal health and quality of life through comprehensive personal care and patient monitoring at LT. COL Luke Weathers Jr. VA Medical Center.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Provide patient care and perform personal hygiene care (bathing, dressing, changing linens, assisting with meals, lifting / moving patients, assisting with ambulation toileting assistance, etc.)
- Patient monitoring
- Documentation of patient observations, activities of daily living, and patient measurements
- Report changes in patient's mental or physical status along with close observation and sitter services as required
- Assist with nursing care and clinical support for patients with physical and / or behavioral challenges
- Collect medical specimens and monitor oxygen equipment
- Assist with medical equipment set
- Recognize and react to emergent patient care situations to include performing basic life support (BLS) and control bleeding
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, kneel and bend

This position is a full-time, 40 hours per week position. Scheduled hours are 11 : 30pm-8 : 00am.
