Job Description

Overview

JW Civil provides civil construction services for Arizona, including earthwork, site work, mass excavations, and underground utilities. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive, problem-solving Staff Accountant / Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with :

Procore
Submitting pay applications
Preparing / processing change orders and subcontractor agreements
Financial management and cost coding
Payroll processing
HeavyJob and HeavyBid software

Qualifications

Strong skills in QuickBooks, Excel, Word

Previous experience in construction office required

Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration across departments
