Our client, in the property management/construction industry, is in need for a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis! The Staff Accountant will be to manage a portfolio with multiple properties, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger. This will be great for a Full Charge Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant that enjoys working for a small company, and a candidate who has solid full-cycle accounting skills and open to learning how to take on multiple accounts at a time. Responsibilities:• Undertake Accounts Payable (AP) functions to ensure all financial deadlines are met.• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) activities to ensure all invoices are paid promptly.• Conduct Bank Reconciliations routinely to verify our records match the bank statements.• Maintain the General Ledger to keep accurate financial records, and operating statements on a monthly basis• Perform Journal Entries to record all business transactions.• Assist in Month End Close procedures to finalize all financial activities for the month.• Operate MRI Software to manage all property financial activities.
