About the job:
JW Fulfillment, a leading warehouse and distribution system provider with an extensive warehouse network across North America and Europe, is seeking a bilingual and experienced Warehouse Manager fluent in both Mandarin and English. This role is critical in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, and seamless distribution of goods. As a key leader in our logistics team, you will supervise warehouse staff, enforce safety standards, and manage logistical processes to optimize workflows and drive efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance functions to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Develop, implement, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse.
- Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with the company’s policies and vision
- Manage stock control and ensure accuracy in inventory reconciliations with the data storage system.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate warehouse employees to achieve operational goals.
- Plan and manage employee schedules, assign tasks, and evaluate performance outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports and statistics, including inventory status, dead stock, and operational metrics.
- Collect and analyze feedback to monitor and improve the quality of services provided.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to work in the United State.
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in 3PL/FBA warehouse management, with expertise in industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate staff effectively
- Strong understanding of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives effectively.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems and databases.
- Strong communication skills, essential for effectively leading teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring clear and productive interactions across all levels.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
