Logistics Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of information between drivers and clients, ensuring timely and efficient service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Manage multi line incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding service requests.
• Coordinate schedules for drivers and ensure timely dispatch of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, including logs of calls, and messages.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing documents, proofreading reports, and maintaining organized digital records, and with ordering office supplies and parts.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in office management practices and computer systems.
• Experience in dispatching a plus.
• Experience in customer support or front desk operations is highly desirable.
• Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
• Ability to proofread documents for clarity and correctness.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with drivers, clients, and team members.
• Familiarity with computerized dispatch systems is a plus.
• Well versed in Excel and Word.
• FieldEdge Service Dispatch Program.
