EQTY Long-Short Portfolio Manager - Financials

Our client is a highly respected multi-manager platform with more than $5Bil AUM deployed across Equity Long-Short and Systematic strategies. Having been founded 10 years ago, they have capital deployed across >50 portfolio teams and strive to add on PMs and Teams running highly liquid, scalable strategies within Equity Long-Short and Traditional Stat Arb.

In a drive to scale, they're interested in onboarding a proven Financials EQTY Long-Short Portfolio Manager/Team from a recognized Hedge Fund. In this role, the PM/Team/Analyst will deploy capital as prescribed within their specific vertical & risk parameters specific to their strategy. The ideal candidate will have accrued at least 5 years track-record trading a Fundamental Equity Long-Short Strategy running >$500Mil with a demonstrated return of ~20% and a Sharpe in excess of 2. Interested in all Financials including but not limited to REITs, non-Bank Financials, Insurance Companies, MM, et al. They will have proficiency running their strategy and may be asked to outline, based on team member, their individual contributions. If this is a single PM hire, additional support may be discussed at time of interview.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors with Advanced degrees from top universities—advanced degrees & CFAs preferred
• Buy-Side PM from recognized Hedge Fund essential -- no Sell-Side or Long-Only PMs pls
• 5 year live track-record running >$500Mil AUM
• Returns of 15% - 20% with Sharpe of 2
• Comfortable managing risk across global markets
• Strong industry & vertical network and relationships
• Ability to travel to industry conferences as needed
• Strong communication skill set (written & verbal)
