About the Client:
Our client is a global hedge fund with more than $6bn in assets.
Founded more than 20 years ago they have a prominence within the Fixed Income space and they are now looking to build out their Equity Long/Short coverage teams by hiring a Market Neutral REITs focused PM to be based out of their New York, NY office location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a multi million dollar, diverse portfolio of REITs, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with the firm's investment strategies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and risks within the REIT sector.
- Investment Strategy: Develop and implement investment strategies that maximize returns while managing risk.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor portfolio performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve investment objectives.
- Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and insights on portfolio performance and market trends.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other investment professionals within the firm to share insights and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record as an REITs Portfolio Manager.
- A track record of delivering $10mm PnL managing a REITs book of business.
- Deep knowledge of the REITs sector
- Demonstrated ability to achieve a Sharpe ratio of 1% or higher.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment.
- Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
Salary : $250,000 - $750,000
