Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce Project Manager to lead and oversee Dev-Ops while actively managing technology projects, process improvements, and infrastructure enhancements, primarily within Salesforce platform. This role requires 3-5 years of Salesforce experience, including managing a team of at least two internal Salesforce professionals as well as external technology vendors or consultants, and a hands-on approach to project execution. The ideal candidate will balance technical leadership, process documentation, and project management responsibilities, ensuring smooth IT operations and the successful delivery of Salesforce initiatives. JWB is looking for a growing Salesforce professional to help refine and drive JWB’s Salesforce vision and strategy to facilitate an efficient and effective technology stack to support our business needs. 


Key Responsibilities:

Project & Process Management:

• Lead day-to-day review, delegation, and execution of IT related tickets within Salesforce environment to resolve errors, bugs, or other needs from business users. 

• Building Project Backlogs and prioritizing tasks and tickets.

• Manage project financials, scope, and timelines, and prepare client-facing project status reports

• Set up clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making protocols surrounding data integration, transformation, and quality.

• Plan, manage, and execute Salesforce projects related to infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and process improvements, primarily related to the Salesforce platform. 

• Develop project timelines, resource plans, and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Track project deliverables, manage dependencies, and ensure timely completion of tasks at a granular level.

• Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to key stakeholders.

IT Operations & Documentation:

• Prepare, maintain, and update Salesforce procedures, SOPs, and process documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency.

• Identify and implement best practices for Salesforce governance, security, and compliance.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline Salesforce workflows and optimize systems.

• Lead execution and management of User Acceptance Testing to ensure timelines and requirements are met. 

Technology & Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee and support network, server, and Salesforce infrastructure operations, ensuring system reliability and security working with third-party vendor as necessary. 

• Evaluate and implement new technologies that align with business needs and operational improvements.

• Proactively monitor system performance and troubleshoot Salesforce issues, coordinating with vendors when necessary.

• Advise Company on migrating from depreciated or older technologies to ensure platform functions efficiently and effectively meeting business requirements. 

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination:

• Supervise, hire, and train two Dev-Ops team members, ensuring team productivity and performance.

• Function as the main point of contact with business leaders and work closely with cross-functional teams and leaders to gather requirements, define priorities, and manage Salesforce service requests.

• Support the creation of the annual budget and tracking against for the IT team.

• Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related projects, bridging technical and business requirements. 

• Additional duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5 years of Salesforce development experience, including marketing and data cloud 

• At least 3 years of Project management experience and overall, 5 years of IT experience.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent) is a plus.

• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred).

• Management experience preferred.

• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud.

• Familiarity with AppExchange tools and components.

Desired experience: 

• Hands-on experience working with Salesforce administration, development, or project management.

• Proven track record in leading Salesforce projects, such as infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and process improvements.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, governance, and customization best practices.

• Knowledge and development of IT governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

• Understanding and experience leading UAT (User Acceptance Testing) processes and methodologies.


Compensation Package:

$ 75,000 - Base Salary

$ 10,000 - Short-Term Incentives


Hours:

8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday

40-50 hours/wk
