Shift : Monday - Friday 7 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm

Job Summary :

The Purchasing Coordinator will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient procurement of goods and services essential for our company's operations. You will be responsible for supporting the purchasing department by managing purchase orders, tracking shipments, maintaining supplier relationships, and assisting with various administrative tasks.

  • Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Track and monitor the status of purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely submission of purchase requisitions.

  • Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues, and other related concerns.

  • Maintain updated knowledge of purchasing policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing processes and procedures.
  • Assist in the evaluation of supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the purchasing team in sourcing new suppliers and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Demonstrate Good Stewardship :

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and report generation.
  • Other Duties as Assigned :

  • Adapt to the evolving needs of the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as required, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and responsiveness in meeting business objectives.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • An Associate's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, is preferred, but not required.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within purchasing, supply chain or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of purchasing procedures and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Google Office Suite and ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
