Payroll Specialist - Home Care Agency

Jzanus Home Care, Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full-time Payroll Specialist to support the processing of weekly payroll for our caregivers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to professional excellence. This position requires someone who is reliable, deadline-driven, and able to perform under pressure while maintaining a cooperative and team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll for field personnel using electronic verification or paper documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Calculate payroll, including overtime, PTO, deductions, and bonuses, utilizing the company’s payroll system.
• Process wage garnishments in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Prepare payroll reports for management as requested.
• Address payroll-related inquiries from both employees and management.
• Verify timesheet accuracy and ensure consistency across payroll records.
• Maintain accurate records of hourly rates, wages, compensation benefits, and new hire information.
• Collaborate with the HR department to process terminations, new hires, and payroll-related changes.
• Assist HR with the preparation of Workers’ Compensation wage documents.
• Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately, adhering to all deadlines.
• Provide support to the Payroll Manager on various projects as needed.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar payroll-related role.
• Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive payroll data.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player committed to organizational success and team goals.
• Familiarity with Viventium and HHA EXchange is a plus.
• Proficiency in the Spanish language is highly desired.
