We currently have a full-time position available as a Project Manager for our Construction Division. You will be overseeing the installation of many large Commercial and Residential projects for K&D Landscaping.
The focus of this position centers around the careful, deliberate, imaginative and serious undertaking of defined work. The job requires an ability to deal in a systematic and patient way with factual and technical information and processes, as well as an ability to focus directly on the knowledge base required for the task. This job requires a serious and disciplined approach and to do it well may mean doing it alone. Doing this job successfully requires focus on the immediate work to be done. Job Duties:
- Assist Estimator by developing production hour quantities for large projects
- Efficiently manage up to (5) projects in progress and 5-10 pre-con/post-con projects
- Perform all contract reviews, submittals, change order docs, RFI’s, and other requirements for projects as set forth in the related plans and specifications
- Manage project schedule weekly with Operations Manager to keep projects on track
- Responsible for ordering all material required for each project in conjunction with Purchasing Manager, Ops Manager and vendors
- Communicate with general contractors, vendors, sub contractors, homeowners and K&D staff for project updates and coordination
- Attend weekly team meetings
- Visit job sites often to ensure progress is trending in the right direction
- Manage projects up to approx. $4M in revenue per year
- Manage estimated labor and materials vs. actual labor and materials to budget or below
- Assist with billing questions and issues as needed for managed projects
- Develop and maintain great relationships with general contractors, subs, vendors etc.
- Provide job cost analysis at end of projects and review with COO
Experience/Qualifications:
- Experience in the landscape industry is preferred
- Responsible for enforcing safety of the job site and company employees on site
- Ability to manage field level personnel at multiple projects
- Can Communicate professionally with Owners/Managers and Field staff

- Proficient with phone and email management
- Driver License required and Insurable Under K&D’s insurance plan
- Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is a plus
Compensation:
- $90,000-$120,000 Salary will be based on experience and qualifications
