What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter/Carpenter Helper/Sub Contractor position at K & G Construction?
A carpenter is responsible for performing construction duties, following clients' specifications, and ensuring the highest quality of work. Carpenters regularly inspect the project, perform adjustments as needed, and repair defects and inconsistencies. A carpenter must have knowledge of the carpentry industry.
- Remodel, framing, demo and build back along with new construction builds, install Sheetrock, special projects.
- Complete demo and up fit of station from bathrooms, kitchens, ceilings, inside, and out.
- Experience in all phases of carpentry including demo and framing.
- Apply knowledge of wood refinishing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, framing, and siding.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
