We are seeking an Admininstrative Assistant to join the Washington DC office. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, often of a confidential nature and unique to assigned area, for senior management teams / departments. Based on office / department specific needs, this may include composing and editing correspondence, memos, reports or other documents; maintaining files; taking minutes at meetings; proofreading documents; copying; faxing; distribution; maintaining calendars; scheduling meetings; making travel arrangements; maintaining conference or other facilities; maintaining records, etc. Also performs various projects and duties to assure continuity of office support for the location. This position will be onsite, 5 days a week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- The daily makeup of tasks changes depending on departmental needs
- Uses various software to type, edit, proofread, copy, and distribute various documents and maintain various internal databases
- Collects and analyzes information
- Performs research using internal and external resources
- Organizes and prioritizes large volumes of information
- Maintains calendars, schedules & coordinates meetings inclusive of room requirements, refreshments, catering, audio visual coordination, invitee lists, etc.
- Answers telephones, greets visitors, and directs appropriately
- Makes travel arrangements and submits expense reimbursement reports
- Provides assistance for a variety of location meetings and initiatives, including partner meetings, employee meetings, charitable events, firm gatherings, educational meetings, client meetings, business development initiatives, etc.
- Supports the firm on various functions, including timekeeping requirements, ordering / inventory of supplies, resolving billing issues, and / or completing check requests
- If required, serve as a confidential secretary for an administrative department
- Performs all other duties as required and assigned

Compensation Salary $68,000 - $102,000
The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
