What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at K&N Engineering Inc?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, storage areas, and work areas
- Operate machinery used in production processes or assist machine operators
- Assemble, process, inspect, and package components and products using machinery and tools
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate safety equipment
- Meet department production requirements and adhere to policies and procedures
- Must be able to:
- Stand or walk up to 8 hours
- Bend and twist neck and waist 3 – 6 hours
- Grasp with hands up to 6 hours
- Fine manipulation up to 3 hours
- Reaching and pulling up to 3 hours
- Lifting up to 10 pounds up to 8 hours
- Lifting up to 25 pounds up to 3 hours
- Ability to work around machinery and will be exposed to dust
Experience, Skills & Education:
- Must be able to read, write, count, and have basic computer skills
- Must be able to communicate, work, and coordinate with other team members
Additional Qualities Necessary:
- Must be able to work on tasks and/or projects with limited supervision
