Benefits Administration

- Administer and oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other wellness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies related to benefits administration.
- Collaborate with benefits vendors to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and optimize program offerings.
- Conduct regular market research to benchmark compensation against industry trends and ensure competitive pay scales.
- Analyze job roles and responsibilities to determine appropriate salary ranges and compensation structures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of annual salary review processes.
- Provide guidance to HR and management during performance evaluation cycles regarding compensation adjustments.
- Oversees leave of absence administration, including management of short-term disability, long-term disability, FMLA, non-FMLA, military, parental, and worker’s compensation leaves of absence.
- Provide documentation to employees eligible for FMLA within a timely manner, as defined by federal FMLA guidelines.
- Maintain records and documentation of ongoing and past leaves.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret compensation and benefits data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and proposals effectively.
- Stay up to date with labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to compensation and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in compensation and benefits practices.
- Communicate compensation and benefits policies, programs, and changes to employees.
- Address employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certification is a plus)
- 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis within a manufacturing or similar industry
- Proficiency in using compensation analysis tools, HRIS, and MS Office Suite (Extensive Excel experience)
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits
