Job Overview:K&S Tire Recycling is seeking a skilled Skid Steer Operator to assist with moving, loading, and processing materials at our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience operating skid steers or similar heavy machinery in an industrial, recycling, or scrap yard environment. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred.Qualifications:✔ High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
✔ Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating a skid steer or similar equipment
✔ Experience in tire recycling, auto scrap yards, or heavy equipment operations (preferred)
✔ Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
✔ Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
✔ Must follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
✔ Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
✔ Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.Key Responsibilities: Equipment Operation & Material Handling
- Operate skid steer loaders to transport, load, and process scrap tires and rubber materials
- Assist with feeding shredders, conveyors, and other recycling equipment
- Keep material flow organized and efficient for processing
Site Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Clear debris and maintain a safe, organized worksite
- Assist in sorting and stacking tires in designated areas
Safety & Compliance
- Adhere to all OSHA and company safety regulations
- Wear proper PPE (gloves, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, masks, etc.)
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues
Teamwork & Communication
- Work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Report any machine malfunctions, material shortages, or safety concerns

- $19 - $24 per hour (based on experience & skills)
