Implemented and maintained infrastructure as code using Chef to automate configuration management tasks

Worked on various cookbooks in chef 12 and chef 16 versions. And troubleshooting the chef-client issues while deploying.

Worked on creating and managing the nodes via chef.

Updated the existing cookbooks to work in multiple environments. Using the Test kitchen to verify the changes locally and cloud instances.

Rolled out chef to all servers and used the chef node database to drive host configuration, DNS zones, monitoring.

Setup and maintenance of automated environment using chef recipes & cookbooks within OpenStack Environment
