About the Role :
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Secretary / HR Administrator to join our team in Sugar Land, Texas. This dual-role position requires a dynamic individual to provide administrative support and oversee HR functions, ensuring smooth office operations and
employee satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Administrative Duties :
Manage the day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, filing, and correspondence.
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
Organize and maintain records, reports, and confidential documents.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management.
Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports.
Order and maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor services.
Monitor and address incoming emails, phone calls, and messages promptly.
HR Administration Duties :
Oversee recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.
Maintain and update employee records, including benefits, payroll, and performance documentation.
Support payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee timekeeping records.
Assist in implementing and updating HR policies, procedures, and handbooks.
Coordinate employee engagement activities, training sessions, and team events.
Address employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, and workplace concerns.
Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws.
Handle confidential and sensitive HR matters with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in administrative and / or HR roles.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficient using AI productivity tools like ChatGPT, perplexity etc.
Exposure to VMS systems like beeline, etc a plus.
Experience working with remote teams. Onshore offshore coordination is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HR software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Familiarity with Texas labor laws and HR best practices is preferred.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is a plus.
