Our client seeks a Network Analyst to fulfill a 6-month contract position. This is an onsite role located in the Boston area, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm (EST). Additional job details and requirements are as follows:
Job Description/Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Network Analyst, managing and supporting IT networks.
- Proven expertise in identifying root causes of technical issues and resolving them efficiently.
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and collaboration with teams.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with Meraki hardware and the Meraki Dashboard interface.
- Background working with Point of Sale (POS) systems and related technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the in-store network architecture and hardware for both brands.
- Provide support for in-store networking and hardware issues, including:
- Using PowerShell to capture network traffic and analyzing it in tools like Wireshark.
- Taking the lead in troubleshooting calls to resolve store-related issues, involving vendors or the retail network team when necessary.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of restaurant technologies and their network dependencies.
- Leverage network monitoring tools to proactively identify and confirm store network issues.
- Oversee the lab network setup and maintenance, working closely with the retail network team.
- Create and maintain technical guides, knowledge articles, and training resources for support personnel.
- Build strong working relationships with vendors, the network team, and support teams to enhance collaboration and communication.
- Troubleshoot and support:
- Meraki hardware and dashboards.
- Windows Firewall configurations for Windows 10 and 11 systems.
- Wireless network setups in retail environments.
- Cellular and satellite network connections and devices.
Pay Range: $65 $85 hourly
