PMO / Resource Allocation Manager
The PMO Resource Allocation Manager is a critical role within our Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for optimising resource utilisation across a portfolio of projects and ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. This role requires a proactive, analytical, and collaborative individual who can navigate a fast-paced, global environment, balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders while ensuring efficient and effective project delivery. An understanding of technical roles within the ecosystems of SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft, and AI ecosystems is required in order to support utilization of the bench.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting and Analytics:

Creation of definition and standards for utilization across K2 globally

Creation of a global, standardised framework to report on utilization and billability of K2’s bench using Certinia.

Design and implement standardized processes and tools for resource planning and tracking.

Produce regular and ad-hoc reports on resource allocation, utilization, and availability.

Provide actionable insights to leadership to support decision-making.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in resource management tools and systems.
Resource Planning and Allocation:

Develop and manage a comprehensive resource allocation framework to support project delivery across the SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft, and AI practices.

Close Collaborate with Practice Leads, Project Managers and Talent Acquisition to ensure the right resources are assigned to the right projects at the right time.

Act as the primary point of contact for resource management, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

Monitor resource utilization rates and identify opportunities for optimization.

Development of a framework and process for consultants on the bench.

Continuously improve resource management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Capacity Management:

Develop a standardised opportunity pipeline tracker that forecasts capacity and utilization for the rolling six months

Conduct regular capacity planning to forecast resource availability and demand.

Identify resource gaps and work with recruitment and talent development teams to address shortages.

Provide insights into workforce trends and recommend strategies to address emerging needs.
Required skills:
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, HR, or a related field.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in resource management, project management, or a related field within a global professional services environment.

Experience working in the SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft,, or AI ecosystems is highly desirable.
Technical and Soft Skills:

Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, Salesforce Analytics, Certinia and Jira desired
