Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our sales team and drive new business opportunities. In this role, you will generate leads, qualify prospects, and book discovery calls by engaging with potential clients through outbound sales activities. Your ability to communicate the value of our MSP services and gather comprehensive prospect data (e.g., contract end dates, key decision-maker contacts, and current pain points) is crucial to fueling our sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new leads through outbound sales activities including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments for the sales team
- Enroll prospects in automated CRM sequences that deliver follow-up emails and nurture leads
- Gather complete prospect data (contract end dates, contact information for decision makers, pain points with incumbent providers, etc.)
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and lead activity in our CRM
- Build and manage prospect lists and leverage social media (e.g., LinkedIn) to connect with potential clients
- Collaborate with management to create strategic programs and incentives for lead generation (e.g., Chamber of Commerce events, vertical market initiatives)
- Attend networking events and relevant webinars to expand your prospecting efforts
- Work with the Solutions team to schedule and conduct technical assessments as part of our proven sales process
- Continuously improve sales documentation frameworks and standard operating procedures
- Develop a strong understanding of our Core Managed story, sales process, and key differentiators to articulate effectively to prospects

- In-Person Prospecting: Comfortable and effective with regular face-to-face outreachsuch as scheduled visits or door-to-door engagement12 days per week
- Adaptability: Resilience and persistence in the face of rejection while maintaining a positive attitude
- Time Management: Proficient at prioritizing and managing a high volume of daily tasks and follow-ups
- Teamwork: A collaborative approach and the ability to contribute to a productive team environment
- Technical: Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement tools (preferably HubSpot)
- Analytical: Capability to analyze data and metrics to optimize sales processes and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the MSP industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and basic marketing automation tools (preferably HubSpot)
- Associate degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
