Responsibilities:
- Supervise and interact with dogs in a group play setting, providing continuous engagement and monitoring their behavior.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including regular cleaning of play areas, equipment, and kennels.
- Administer meals, medications, and special care as needed for each dog.
- Communicate effectively with fellow team members and management to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
- Develop a rapport with dog owners, providing updates on their pet's behavior, health, and well-being.
- Assist with various tasks, including check-in/check-out procedures, record-keeping, and inventory management.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and improve skills.
- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting (daycare, boarding, veterinary, training, etc.) is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of dog behavior, body language, and handling techniques.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, and move continuously throughout a 6-hour shift.
- Comfortable working in a loud and active environment with multiple dogs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively within a team.
