What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Technician position at K9 Country Club?
The Kennel Technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kennels and facility, giving all pets their food and medication and pet rotations. You will have interaction with clients by bringing dogs to and from daycare as well and follow our services in accordance with Company policies and procedures with the safety of people and animals at the forefront at all times. This involves, but not limited to:
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Disinfect/clean and maintaining kennels.
- Giving pet food and medication
- Bath services
- Discharge and admit animals
- Launder and dry towels/blankets
- Maintenance of the facility to ensure healthy and hygienic conditions to both animals and humans.
- Performing routine cleaning of kennels, bathrooms, laundry room, break room, training room, storage room, fire room, and hydro room.
- Record information for all intake and checkout pets.
- Work well with the entire team being a TEAM PLAYER.
- Care and maintenance of the turf and kennel areas.
- Assisting in the breeding or birthing process as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
