About Our Mission
K9s For Warriors Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing service dogs to veterans suffering from the invisible wounds of war, such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
We have a unique program that pairs veterans with a battle buddy, who was likely a rescue dog and then teaches him or her to utilize that dog to mitigate the symptoms of their wounds.
We are looking for a dedicated Kennel Operations Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission.
This is a Full-time & Non-Exempt position offering a competitive salary of $15.00/hourly.
The schedule is: Thursday- Monday, off Tuesday & Wednesday
The hours alternate bi-weekly (6:00am-2:30pm & 10:30am- 7:00pm)

Job Responsibilities
The Kennel Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the proper operation of the kennels, to include cleaning/maintaining kennel facilities, feeding the dogs, caring for the dogs, and ensuring the overall safety of the kennel facilities and dogs.
Shifts vary based on the needs of the kennel; to include weekends, holidays, evenings, and rotating days off.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating schedule
- Kennel experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and meet policy requirements for company auto insurance
